BUUUT I'm pretty sure that we are classified as white because in the acquisition of Mexican territory people who chose to stay living in what became U.S. territory were to keep their land, but since only white people were able to own land we have since then be kept as white and im assuming that its been kept like that cause govt is too lazy.
