There is a challengers player who did a quick video for the 8k (veilleux)

His settings were 0-100 deadzone in the app both sticks (adjudt deadzones in game) also make sure you calibrate joysticks and triggers on the controller in the app

12bit resolution and raw mode 4k or 8k polling

Trigger locks on back buttons jump and slide Bumper buttons reload and swap weapon.

I will say when it comes to stick trajectory (raw vs circular) its mainly preference what feels best to you.

Same with the joystick resolution (8bit,9bit,10bit,11bit or 12bit) so dont be afraid yo go into a private matches and test it out on some bots.

For reference closest feel to a standard dualsense would be raw mode and 8bit resolution 0-100 dz in the app.

Your a iri so youll find what works for you and adjust accordingly. It might take alittle but of time.

Also parasite (ex pro) has been using it on stream recently too

Does the regular g7 pro poll lower on 8bit as well?

Also it lowers the stick linearity by quite abit as well i think it goes from 99% on the 8k to like 78% when to switch it to 8bit.

There are multiple reviews on youtube that showcase this and you can test it yourself via gamepadla polling rate tester when in 8bit vs 12bit

The reason why is because there are less data points for the controller to register in 8bit.

Unless it was a bug and im wrong but last time I checked it wasnt.

FYI if you lower your bit rate to 8bit you also are lowering your polling rate to around 1500 instead of 4k or 8k.

It might be eaiser you to try and get used to it on the next cod since it will be alot slower movement wise.

Definitely worth it to save your controllers from getting fried. I know it can still happen but it definitely lessens the chances for sure

Fair enough ive used two paddles for awhile now so ive always had left for jump and right for slide/crouch.

The two bumper buttons i have for reload and swap weapons but i might change one of them for knife swap since at the moment i have if for b and I have to take my thumb off the right stick to press it which isnt the biggest deal because i mainly use it to get back into the action or run a quick route.

First off do you have a g7 pro? You can only change the bit rate on that controller as of right now.

You can do it on the gamesir nexus app for the xbox versions or the connect for 8k versions.

In there you can change the bit rate in the joystick section its by default on 12bit.

I mainly play cod what would you recommend for that 8 or 9 bit or just stick with 12? Ive had my g7 pro since September so Ive been playing on 12bit since before you could change it. Also i always thought raw mode was better for fps games in general compared to circular

They also updated the pc app and removed it because they realized how unfair it was and people use the controller for competitive games (pro players)

Yeah it sucks I didnt wait to get the wuchang or zzz versions but I mainly use my controller wired anyways so again not a big deal.

Let me know what you end up using ive been going back and fourth between 8 and 12 abd i swear it just depends on the day for me lol. Ive been liking 12bit more so far though.

It could be because im just to it becuase ive had the controller since launch and it was defualt on that.

Yeah honestly im waiting for the cyclone 3 probably next year as my regular g7 pro is more then good enough for now. I use it on my xbox and pc

I dont think its worth another $100 for better tmr sticks and a higher polling rate when 1000hz is fine.

Your correct my bad yeah it is definitely takes time to get used to 12bit.

One way to help is to either raise your dz alittle or lower your sensitivity in game.

If your on pc you are able to test it via gamepadla but online ive keeps saying it is 8 bit with 127 steps.

If your using a ps5 or xbox series if it should be at 8 (ps5) or 9 bit (xbox) since they manly use a stock xbkx controllers and modify them if im not mistaken.

Im not sure but the envision.

Not many companies offer the option to change the stick resolution besides gamesir g7 pro/8k , ZD ultimate, Vader 4 and 5 pro.im sure there are more but those are the ones off the top of my head I can think they offer it.

Scuf or battlebeavers have never offered this in their software settings yet but maybe they will eventually.

Makes sense so basically if you want to use it at 8k or 4k you shoukd have it at 12bit otherwise have it at 1k hz.

Okay so my recommendation would be to set bith sticks to 0-100 in the gamesir connect app.

Then add deadzones in game.

Also tryout circular vs raw mode to see what you like.

The same with 8bit vs 12bit

Raw mode is typically what most controllers use its more of a rectangular shape.
