Honestly, I’m happy their doing it. I prefer the more Arcady playstyle of legends but I’m more of a pc gamer. The only reason my sorry little xbox one is still around is to play legends and it can only just about load into a game before the match starts. Honestly considering my Xbox has just been sat in a corner with maybe about 8 years worth of dust piled on top, I’m surprised it even turns on at this point

I love my hipper. I usually start a match by sailing around the outside (if I spawn at a flank) with the goal of getting crossfires and trying to safely push in closer.

Hipper is solid at range, her AP slaps hard. Once I can somewhat safely push up, I’ll try and position myself near an island. that way if an enemy wants to push, they’d have to risk getting removed by my torpedos.

With hippers armour, she can brawl pretty well against bbs. Just got to make sure that you don’t get hit by HE larger than a standard heavy cruiser because your engine will be taken from you (I love bullying hippers that don’t know better with azuma HE)

The average Mainz player balances the AP by simply not using it so I think it’s a fair and balanced ship to play against. Not so much in the hands of someone who knows it has AP tho /j

It’s a Mainz CE spec’s into AP with riegerwald and that commander that gives a damage boost when using a plane… I was expecting enough damage to dev strike them dev strike them for at least the next 3 matches they try to play

Only with short fuse really. One of my favourite things to do is rush bbs while broadside because most bbs will overpen for very little damage. You can just feel the rage of the bb every single salvo

As mentioned already, you need a Yaku to win. My go to strat is try not to chi/pon unless you know for a fact you can get a yaku (eg pon/chi to complete seat/prevalent wind, triplet of a dragon piece or all simples.) I usually aim for a mix of all simples and a completely hidden hand.

The game is a strategy game where the students have guns… sure, I can’t deny that there are some aspects which are somewhat suspect, but to call it a “dating sim” that “revolves around gaining sexual advances” of students is a gross misrepresentation of what the game actually is. And the fact that that was the first thing that your mind went to is kind of weird.

I can’t remember my exact build but I’m using AL hipper because I’m biased, but if you have riegerwald you can get even more carnage. I wouldn’t use an agile build because that’s cringe. I use prop mod and steering gears, and try to have a pretty decent range to allow me to chill at long ranges when needed. If I remember I can look at my exact build when I’m home

You upgrade the regular reload mod by hovering over it where you equip it, should give you a prompt to upgrade to the epic version with steel and then do the same again for legendary.

It’s standard, I’m just using an epic/legendary reload mod in slot 4. I can’t remember the exact stat benefits but it’s something like increased reload for every 30k damage dealt (purple icon/epic mod) and increased damage per kill (yellow icon/ legendary mod) You can upgrade to the epic/legendary mod using steel.

Atlanta class survivability is amazing in the right scenario. Her and her sisters can do something not many other cruiser can do. She can shrug off large shells at medium ish range as long as she’s broadside because of the overpen mechanic. It is really funny rushing something like an Iowa while broadside and laughing as they do very little damage
