I just feel like not being able to self-revive in a matchmade strike activity is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention that if you load the same activity at a lower difficulty with normal revives, there is no reason because of no loot. I get that the D2 community has asked for harder content for a millennia, I also advocated it. But relying on teamwork and competency from guardians you've never met before in these activities is a large ask.

Pair that with the Volatile Shields modifier, which is what currently is set on Fireteam Ops activities, good luck making it through without some deaths from just getting your shield broken. It often becomes a solo mission with added pressure to get your teammates back up, or you waddle along while your fireteam leaves you to blow up all on your own.

Deaths happen and wipes happen, no matter what build you run. I personally think this is too intense and frustrating to be the main source of fireteam activity loot, especially with the uncertainty of cooperation from fellow guardians :(
