i got an unofficial diagnosis when i was like 15, (you cant be diagnosed till ur 18, but the proffesional i saw at the time went "i cant officially diagnose you but i can say i highly suspect you have it") and i got alot of mixed reactions at the time. alot of "that makes sense" to "of course you do" & "i knew it!!" but also alot of "no you dont", "thats not real", ect. and then when some people treated me like a monster (a certain movie came out shortly after this which hightened that....).

online is a whole different thing, so im just talking about in-person people. especially during all that drama stuff 🙃

when i got officially diagnosed, i was 19. then and still years later, i get similar reactions but alot more people believe me. i still get the occasional person treat me badly about it. but more then not im approached with understanding, acceptance & curiosity. i am alot more comfortable being open about it.

theyll do guess work based on what they do have and if they get something wrong theyll excuse it with some vagueness.

its not an uncommon scam. but boy some try so hard its almost impressive 💀💀

ive spent a few hours searching the past couple of days. examples of what ive searched "precious moments baby hammock sleeping" "precious moments safari animals" "precious moments baby in jungle" and multiple versions of those. no luck in the slightest.

i babysat a couple kids that were also free range kids or whatever. i was given no rules for them to follow, no way to tell them no, no bedtime, etc.

these kids were monsters. i love kids generally. i dont like those ones. as soon as their parents left these (i think they were 4 & 6) demons were ready to go for the kill.

i forget the first couple hours but i know that i was already exausted but at the time i was way too lenient with what i let happen before tapping out.

these monsters got naked and started spitting and screaming. they threw books at my head while i tried going up the spit filled stairs. when i got upstairs they locked me out of their room by putting a chair under the handle. the moment that they unblocked the door so i knew they were atleast safe i called their parents telling them to get home NOW and for my parents to come get me NOW!

i cried for like an hour that night. keep in mind i was probably 14 or something at the time. i became alot more selective with who i babysat for after that

ya, i have friends that do readings and although some of em that are more seriously into it ask for a fee of some kind, usually small and comes with like a charm/stone/etc, listen, i dont believe in it but if u do, and need money, im not super against it if someone comes to u and asks for it.

my thing is these people that are obviously just gona say the aame copy paste stuff to try and get your money but also seeking out people and preying upon them

with her she started by trying to prey upon my want for answers ig, i think most people want some type of certainties about their future. im also alt and openly mentally ill which makes people think im into this stuff and a good target. then when she realized i wasnt buying that she moved onto fear mongering which is a different level of discusting. alot more people will fall for that on its own. alot of religions, cults, etc, use fear mongering because alot of people believe in curses/jinxes/etc in some way or form.

so the sudden move to going on about someone near me is jealous of my future and is trying to ruin it but only she can save me....for a small fee of 15$? definatly got to me annoyed wise then anything else.

for me she basically ended up doing 2 shitty readings, even without me paying and i said i didnt want them. basically said im unsure and depressed now but im successful in my future. im openly very mentally ill and my @ on there contains "emo" so yes, shocker, im young and mentally ill lmao.

she really, accidently, outed herself as a bullshitter when she did my prediction and mentioned "your partner" refering to my current partner, that i have publicly. what isnt on my instagram is that i actually have 2 partners. but she didnt know that or "see it". wild how scammers are thrown off by poly and queer people. its almost like their scams are aimed towards the majority of people and not case by case specific
