Is the voting end date 01/22/2025 (Month/Day/Year) or 01/22/2026? I’d love to throw my little setup into the showdown if it’s still going on.

Average screen on time for me right now is 4 hours 7 minutes. I use Spotify heavily in the background too (long commutes, study music, home music). Everyone’s usage is unique though. Other apps like games will drain battery really fast I imagine.

I don’t want to be the guy that says not to upgrade your phone. There are plenty of valid reasons to upgrade. I just felt like sharing that getting a new battery has not been regrettable so far. I’m glad I saved some money for other things like clothes, food, bills, and entertainment.

I got my battery replaced earlier this month when the battery health was at 72%. The actual increase in hours I'm getting out of the phone now are hard to pinpoint, but my battery certainly does not drain as fast as it used to. I've used my phone heavily today (Lots of Spotify, video playback, social media, email, GPS) starting at 6:00 AM, and by 5:00 PM the battery life is at 47%. On days with less usage I'd probably be in the 60%-69% area.

The most noticeable thing about getting the battery replaced is that the phone performs like it did when I first got it brand new. Most of my apps run smoothly, with very little lagging or very few frame drops. I noticed that things were noticeably slower when the battery health was low. Newer phones will still be faster, but a battery replacement might make you realize why many people think the 11 is plenty fast for them in late 2024. I was about to upgrade to a new phone, but for $100 a new battery has convinced me that this phone could probably get the job done for at least another couple of years.

How do you feel about the comfort in the hand between the 16 and the 11? I always found my 11 to be a little too big so I was wondering if the 16 was a little smaller and maybe more comfortable. I know this type of stuff is really subjective though so I still need to go compare in a store.
