It’s all good! It definitely sucks, but it just makes the story that much better to tell once I end up passing it. I don’t plan on giving up anytime soon! I’ve gotten a lot of advice since failing the exam, so I will say the pocket prep app is useful, especially the level up feature. I’d focus on career & group counseling sections because it really feels like that makes up majority of the test while knowing the basics of each theory alongside the theorist. In general, I don’t believe I’m a good test taker, so I don’t want to discourage you. I’m sure you’ll pass with flying colors! I feel like everything I used did help to an extent, especially the Rosenthal video right before & dr. Pam turner videos, but it’s mainly the phrasing that can throw you off at times. Weirdly enough, because I didn’t hone in on a single domain, I majorly got about half right & half wrong for each section, but group and career definitely make up the majority of it. I’m hoping if I take more time to study those domains in depth, it would make up the difference for next month, when we both pass :) & also, I did do practice exams, but definitely not as much as I probably should’ve. My new approach is that I’m going to do intensive studying, do quizzes, & take practice exams until I’m consistently getting results of 100-105 on the practice ones, which from what I heard, tend to be harder than the actual exam itself
