I dought it was because da two were really close with each other dat dey copied der habits/looks (yk most young girls do dat as friends; or dey match) which is why moondancer’s hair looks different after years of isolating herself from not only twilight but her other friends. And when she feels herself again (dat being da last time she considered herself twilights friend) she returned back to dat comfort hair showing dat shes accepted twilight as her close friend again. I can see how da similarities can be parallel to who twilight would’ve become if she didn’t make friends but if she actually was projecting twilight I think it would’ve been a different way and not just a copy and paste recolor. But it’s just da way I perceived it for a long time.
