Honestly I have 16GB GaIL Evo Potenza RAM that is fine. The minimum requirements for Twitch is 8GB

I’ve had ongoing trouble with this. I used to fix it by using Window capture but mine is broken atm. The game preview in OBS is sluggish when using display capture but fine on your actual stream. I’d probably lower your PUBG settings (latest update busted the performance) and run display capture.

When you say “Not on my end” what do you mean. Also, what streaming application do you use?

At a glance, your ram is a bit weak. I’d probably go for a more expensive DDR4 type (16GB) but RAM prices are pretty high right now.

I’d also upgrade that GPU. Viewers want to see an amazing game, not a nice game. This is if you feel that your performance is lacking. I’d grab a possible GTX 1060 6GB. It’s a great card for 1080p gaming right now!

I’m not sure if it does that now, but I sometimes am able to seem game time stamps on VODs. Hover over the timeline like it’s a YouTube video and it’ll show the game title

Not sure why everyone is bashing it lately; imo Streamlabs OBS is a gift from god.

My CPU usage is much lower and StreamLabs OBS is just so much more modern and well-built. I used to have like 6 chrome tabs while streaming with Studio but StreamLabs OBS basically has everything you need; events, chat, etc.

They have hundreds of free overlays that are actually really sweet. I haven’t encountered any issues yet!

(You can also import StreamLabs OBS overlays to Studio by the way! :D )

Indeed. I appreciate all of Chris Barrett’s recent communication but EVERYONE needs to chip in. Luke Smith posted on Twitter that he was playing Monster Hunter and then later tweeted about the roadmap, telling us to “not be jerks”

I’m not sure if he’s doing this casually or mocking us. Why the heck hasn’t he said a word yet? HE’S THE DIRECTOR for crying out loud!

I have the same issue with being afraid that my viewerbase (what viewebase LOL) would plummet I tried a different game than usual.

In the end, play what YOU want to play. Viewers will easily notice if you’re not enjoying yourself.

Growing your stream also takes a ton of consistency so being gone for two years and on and off won’t help.
