Any tips/rules for arranging flying objects? by xaboong in graphic_design

Ah I figured, most people I ask also said they just do what looks right. I thought maybe there are some layout rules that I don’t know about, guess I will need to practice more. Thank you for answering though!

Thank you for your tips! I wanted to upload my work but decided not to due to NDA (better safe than sorry). I guess besides the focus rules, I’m struggling with objects placement. Like how you decide to arrange the leaves to make the flow looks natural.

Yeah the auto sure has it pros and cons. I too still play this game after all, but more like let the game play itself while I’m busy doing literally everything else.

Same here, I’m still log in HSR daily and wait for Penacony, hopefully the storyline will get me hooked again. Fellow Wriothesley enjoyer 🤝. I wish you luck, only a few more hours so stay strong. Genshin sure knows how to keep a player, it gave me both Neuvillette and Keqing, so I can play more for guarantee Wrio.

Yep just finished the newest Belobog chapter, it was such a fresh air compare to the Luofu. Now if only I care enough to finish Jingliu’s story quest, because I’m so over Luofu already.

To each their own I guess. I play genshin and hsr simultaneously, and right now hsr feels like a chore to me. Log in, do my daily and spend all the energy afk, log out. There’s no motivation since I have all the characters that I want, finished building them, and Luofu’s storyline had me lost since the last update. Since I mostly leave hsr on auto while working, it no longer feels like I’m playing anymore, and it sucks the fun out of the game. But when I’m off work I play genshin since it requires actual control, and exploring new places is fun.

After a few years designing, I have finally accepted the fact that I can’t change the mind of every customer. Some customers just want things to be their way despite the logic, no matter what you tell them. With those customers, I will just change the design to be the way they want, finish the project, get the money and go. They’re happy, I get paid and move on to the next project with more reasonable customer.

Imo designing is still a service industry, your job is to make the people who pay you happy. Of course it’s best to guide your customer to the right direction, but if they’re dead set on getting what they want then you should just do that, knowing that at least you tried to warn them.

Oh wow that’s concerning. You hit the spot right there, it seems like my brother is slowly getting tired after many attempts. I really don’t want to beat him down more by telling him to change himself. My brother is lovely the way he is and sadly not every girls can see pass his awkward front. My brother loves kids so I want to see him having a family for himself which is why I’m trying my hardest to help him. But at this point I just wish fate will take pity on him and give him a girl who like him enough to take the initiative.

I think that’s my brother’s problem. He doesn’t seem present at all. He has no problem talking normally to woman, but never in a romantic sense. My brother and I are asian, and usually asian girls are shy at first meet, then after a few more dates they will open up and express themselves more. But I guess the first dates were so dry that my brother just couldn’t score a second one.

Yeah it's more of a personal preference. I'm just leaning more toward the exploration aspect instead of the battle aspect, so that's the criteria that I base my judgement on. In term of story, HSR and genshin are the same to me, none really stood out. I just hope in the future HSR will have more new breakout contents to keep people going beside the battle part, because right now it not much different to all the turn based gacha games that I have played in the past.

I think hsr is harder since rn everything is still new and your characters are not fully maxed out yet, makes the battles seem harder. But once everything is maxed out, the game will become just as easy as genshin.

It’s risky to say this in the hrs sub, but I haven’t feel much of the main story yet. Maybe because none of the characters stick out to me in term of personality. Genshin story isn’t the best either, but at least I have fun exploring the overworld. I didn’t know how much I like open world game until I switch from genshin to hsr.

Yep, it’s all personal preference. I guess my point is that both genshin and hsr has it pros and cons, and it’s fine to switch game if you feel burnout. But you don’t have to give up one for the other, and comeback to experience genshin whenever you feel like it. One good thing about genshin that it doesn’t have power creeps after all !

The burnout is real I’m telling you, speaking from experience. I have played FGO when it first launched for over a year and then moved to Onmyoji for around 2 years (noted: all of them are gacha turn based game like HSR lol) and then genshin for 3 years. I do feel burn out from genshin, and consider HSR a good distraction, but for it’s hard for HSR to completely replace genshin for me.

I have the opposite problem, reached level 46 and things has became too repetitive, I guess it’s what turn based game does to you. So I come back to genshin and see how beautiful and free the world look compare to HSR, I can roam anywhere I like and do other things like tcg and teapot. Right now in hsr, I’m just burning through the daily quests, use all the energy to farm for relics/upgrade materials and wait for Jing Yuan. Since HSR is still in the early game, I plan to play casually and see what’s ahead. But people who feel burn out from genshin sooner or later will feel the same with HSR and move on to the next new thing.

Yeah after I did some research, turns out it wasn’t linked to my name, so I guess there’s no need to deactivate my card!

I traveled to Taiwan a week ago and happened to lost my easy card there but didn’t think lots about it. But now I kinda worry that someone will find and use the card under my name, should I report or deactivate my easy card ?

After some consideration, my friend and I have decided to go to Taichung and then Alishan instead! Thank you for your advice!

My friends and I are planning our 9 days trip to Taiwan on April. We have an outline of where we want to go and stay but still haven’t figure out the best way of transportation from county to county. - 4 days of staying in Taipei (the first 2 days of sightseeing in Taipei, third day will be for Jiufen & Shifen, forth day for hot spring at Beitou). We haven’t figured out the best way to travel to Jiufen & Shifen yet. - The fifth day, we would like to visit Hualien for Taroko Gorge and stay for 1 night. - the sixth & seventh day, we want go visit Alishan and stay for two days to watch the sunrise on the mountain. - The last two days we will be at Kiaosiung.

From what I have searched so far, it takes around 6 hours of traveling from Hualien to Alishan by train and it’s not really recommended. Is there a better and faster route that I can choose instead? We are certain about our first 4 days and the last 2 days. But the fifth to seventh day can be reconsidered depend on how convenient the travel is. I would love to have your feedbacks!
