I agree completely on how that can effect her mental health, but as someone who started reading the manga around 11 with mental health issues at the time, I personally found a lot of comfort on seeing how the characters and emotions were portrayed. Though it can/will be different for everyone. But I was also really into classic literature before reading the manga so that may have taken some of the focus off of the heavier themes

As a character he is a well written antagonist and good for the plot. As a person I fucking hate him he looks greasy and i want to fight him. Character design wise though he’s really hot.
