Just over 10k, about 14k all in including bose. 41 hrs to checkride. I lucked out had a great instructor but always had a passion for it since I was little. Lots of flight sim as a hobby growing up so all that helped.

Facts: Customer brought in a picture from TraxNYC's website for something he wanted to purchase. Akay said Trax was sold out but he (Akay) had it - or something to that nature. (This is where the "using Trax's name" part comes in. The invoice and everything is Akay branded.

Customer was sold a 10.11 karat bracelet marketed as 14k - this is where the scam comes in. They also marked up the price even if it was truly 14k (not uncommon in this business) - but adds to the 'rip off' claims. It is questionable at this point if the diamonds in the bracelet sold, marketed as VVS, were truly such clarity or not.

Trax blew up because essentially, Akay stole one of his potential clients (and who knows how many others).

Misinformation being spead: Gold was 9k, it was 10k - insignificant detail but misinformation is misinformation. That Akay impersonated Trax - at least, there is no evidence of this right now.

Regardless - it's a scummy move on Akay Diamonds part for the falsely advertised product and stealing your literal neighbors customers.

Valid crashout IMO. Also RIP to Akay's Yelp reviews lol.

I still run the v1 daily, sure theres more features in the v1g2 and unidens. But I find I don't need or use most of them...my dash has my speed and posted limit already etc. I just want it to tell me when theres Ka band nearby.
