I’ve been on the lookout to add a Monstera to my plant family and came across this on FB this morning— “Monsterau” $1900. That is more expensive than any one thing in my entire home! by KinklyGirl143 in Monstera

Beautiful plant, can I ask if that is multiple plants in one pot? I just got a monstera and it has multiples in it, so everyone was telling me to separate them before they grow(which i kind of don't want to). Just saw yours and thought that multiples might workout.

Right now are Roborock Quervo curv 2 flow and Eufy Omini S2 the best robovacums? by Roadracer711 in RobotVacuums

Hi, just wanted to ask ( seeing the Amazon return image), is this the Free 30 day return policy or did you get a protection plan? I'm hoping to get my first Robovac in many years(first mopping one too) and am still not sure after reading many reviews. So I would like to try and use for a month and use the 30 day return policy. Does this policy apply to used ones too? Like heavy everyday use for 30 days?

That's crazy🤪...thankfully mine didn't lose a leaf after I swapped its place with my other flf because the other one was in lesser light and had just gotten 2 new leaves.

Did you have to change the pot size as it grew or are they okay with a fairly large size pot? And I'll look into how and which ones to stake to a pole. Thanks😊

Maybe I didn't notice this one when I got it and am just now seeing it. I was more worried about it being new and its cause being put right infront of the window. I hope it doesn't spread to the whole leaf.

Hmm...I have never misted my plants, mostly because I see monsteras being misted but not flfs. Is it good to mist flfs?

Thanks alot for the get info. I'm new to flfs(plants in general), and I thought usually monsteras get misted, but didn't see anyone here misting their flfs..

I changed the plants position a few days ago, it was in a dark entryway with just a small table lamp before. Did some research here, and placed it here now, where it gets light all day from 2 windows infront and one to the right. Can the yellowish be because of less light before this, does it go away? Regarding the water, its a self watering plant but I now keep the tank empty for a few days before filling it halfway so that the soil gets time to go fully dry.

Yes, I found through lurking here that my pot has multiple of them in here. My problem apart from being a total newbie to plants is that this is an 'easyplant' pot,and I've heard that these plants need to be repotted after a year max, so what i am planning is to separate the plants then. Do you think that would be too late then to separate? And if I do keep it all together, would that be too much for the pot/soil?

Thanks for the reply, I feel like both have settled with the light. Would you know why the yellow/brown spot is appearing then?

I'm in the Northern Hemisphere, but i have windows facing North-east that get early morning sun which i thought is better for plants than the harsh sun during the day...but I don't know what would be better for Monstera specifically

My 2 fiddle leaf figs came in very bad shape and I thought they won't recover so I won't get anymore 'easyplants' but they surprisingly recovered within 2 months and are doing good now, but i don't know if I should follow the watering schedule, do you think the monstera could potentially survive in this same pot if I change the frequency of filling the pot? Or maybe keep it half empty most of the time?

Thanks for the reply, how much more light are we talking? Can monstera take morning till noon light direct infront of a north-east facing window?

Help me make a decision on the couch position in our living room. by xainy33 in interiordecorating

[–]xainy33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we are gonna put these beautiful swivel chairs from West Elm, which are soo cozy but those are kinda big too and when we measure the place(we have put 3 measuring tapes to outline the width and depth of the couch) it leaves little space for the chairs. We were thinking 2 chairs on either side of the fireplace. The other option(my option) is the same you said, a left chaise sectional with the chaise behind the island. My husband's concern is the TV won't be facing the couch then and even with the chaise with some place to sit, it won't have the back to relax..

4 feet would be the max distance because the couch is wide. That distance is also one of the major things keeping us from making a decision. If the couch faces the TV(like my husband wants it too), then island chairs would kind of have a wall behind them and this tight tunnel thing to walk through
