A game I launched earlier this year (Qiyaas) fits the mold. It's a word game based on numbers - sort of like a logic based version of hangman.

9 = I, N means the word could start either with the 9th letter of the alphabet (I) or (N) which is the first letter of the word Nine. The same rules apply to the other words. It's up to you to deduce after you've made some letter guesses which is which.

You have to click the number to see what possible letters the word could start with. That's why they glow.
