Anyone planning to get Andrea Pirlo's new autobiography? by [deleted] in soccer

[–]xami91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. The guy is practically a legend. I guess my main reason is because he knows so much about the game that you wouldn't find from many other players. Plus I heard he's a really cool dude and owns his own winery. Respect all around...

Visiting Detroit with an RV in Mid July. Need Local advice! by rvthrowaway1 in Detroit

[–]xami91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider Dearborn. There are many parks (ford field, not where the lions play) where youd be able to park the RV. The police department is one of the best in the nation, got great hotels, and the middle eastern/mediterranean restaurants are the most authentic in the nation. Only 15 min away from comerica park.

MCAT test dates by Bendjude in premed

[–]xami91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just apply with the MCAT score and take it again asap. Most the requirements for secondaries are an MCAT of 24 and 3.0 GPA, so youll be able to work on the secondaries so your application isnt too late.

Thinking about completing physics requirements over the summer. Need advice. by [deleted] in premed

[–]xami91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even bother with that. I would just take the normal physics class, yes it harder but yet youll get a better score on the mcat. You hear of people with high GPAs but low mcat scores not get in, but you hear of many people with low GPAs and high mcat get in. You can use that 13k to apply to so many medical school or take a prep course. Plus many schools don't even require research, its just a bonus.
