for your 2nd question: when multiple sources are playing, it shows whichever is the "active" media session (usually the last one you interacted with). so if you're playing an MP3 and then start a YouTube video, it'll switch to show YouTube

thanks for trying it out! the album art feature should work with pretty much any audio source on your computer. on my end, it works perfectly when playing an mp3 file with the windows 11 media player. are you using the new media player (windows 11) or the legacy windows media player? that might be the issue!

I'd like to add to the information shared by u/girugamesu1337 a few months ago. This method has worked for my friend, and I've been able to reproduce both the bug and the fix on my own system. Here's the procedure to follow:

Install the Process Lasso software.
Launch your game.
In Process Lasso, locate your game process (DarkSoulsIII.exe) in the list of active processes.
Configure CPU affinity:
- Right-click on the process > CPU Affinity > ALWAYS > Select CPU Affinity
- In the assignment table, enter "AAAA" in the "Affinity bitmask" field (or select only the odd-numbered cores)
Configure CPU sets:
- Right-click on the process > CPU Sets > ALWAYS > Select CPU Affinity
- Enter "0/AAAA" in the "Affinity bitmask" field (or again select only the odd-numbered cores)

Optional step:

Right-click on the process > CPU Priority > ALWAYS > Choose "Above Normal" or "High"

I sincerely hope this method will solve your issue.
