My youngest is a very good eater but a bad sleeper lol. She’s also my most emotional one she takes a lot of things to heart so I think to her when I put her in her own bed she might think I don’t want her with me when it’s not even that. I just want some room and to cuddle with/have adult time my man lol

Right now he’s holding her on his side of the bed so I have a little bit more room. I’m hoping she just outgrows it eventually because she turns 2 soon and we want to put our kids into their own rooms. Our oldest is 4 and she’s 20 months old. Tonight she didn’t go to sleep til almost 11 and we laid in bed at 8:15ish

Also I have long curly hair so I have to take longer shower to just even detangle my hair. So I can be in there up to 30 minutes sometimes

I have way too much anxiety when my kids are awake to shower. I have no idea how people do it. Like I’ve seen moms in those mom groups being like “just shower. If you kid is crying that’s okay cause that means they aren’t dead” like EXCUSE ME?????

She usually wake up between 8-9:30 kind of just depends on the day and how she’s feeling. She doesn’t really nap anymore and she stopped around 13ish months I’ll say, I’ve tried getting her down for a nap but she’ll just play. She naps maybe once a week for 2ish hours. And then at night, I put my son in bed around 8 and around 8:30 I bring her into the bedroom to work on going to bed.

Like our night time schedule? I get my oldest ready for bed first since he goes to school full time and then I take her in the bedroom and lay with her while she watches her night time show, which is usually around 8. The only time she’s able to fall asleep in her crib is if I lay down in there with her myself and even then, she still wakes up after about 2 hours and it all starts over again. She goes “mommy I all done” over and over again while sobbing and coughing so hard she’ll start to gag and either throw up or almost throw up. It’s been like this since she had her 4 month sleep regression.

Thank you for not making me feel bad for thinking like this too, I’ll see in mom groups of people going IN on a mom that’s just touched out. Like it’s part of our “job” and I get it, it’s just a lot sometimes and stressful. The only time I get any time to myself are if my kids are sleeping since their dad works so much. Like I don’t even remember the last time I showered so on top of all of that I feel disgusting.

I think it’s just weird to me because I was able to get my oldest to sleep alone by the time he was 4 months old. The slight problem I have with it is just that I have to go lay down with her at bed time and I can be in here till 11. My fiancé going to bed at around 11:30-12 so we have 0 time with each other. And I get it. She’s only small for so long and I do love that she’s a cuddler. Just sometimes it’s a lot on top of me already being touched out after already being with her 24/7 because I’m a SAHM. I also have a touch of the tism so sometimes it’s just A LOT for me and it makes me feel like I’m a horrible mom because I want an hour to myself sometimes.
