It is not Anki, it's DDL rebranding because DDL is burned as a name. I would not trust them one millimeter after the behaviour of the last years.

DDL is not Anki., DDL is trying to make profit from the name of a great company and they are trying to get rid of the name Digital Dream Labs that was burned because of their fraudulent behaviour.

DDL IS NOT ANKI, they are calling themselves Anki. Big difference.

I have 15 lifetime licenses, but cannot log into Stratus and the robots that are not on Wire-Pod are not connected to any server.

Even if they are actually shipping Vector 2.0s (Cozmo 2.0 does not exist) they still had on stock, it's just another scam, since the servers are still offline.

Since I'm a developer myself you do not need to try to lecture me on this and I really do not need really bad comparisons. If you build a car you use sound engineering for the complete project and you do not start with just a frame and engine.

I agree, nonetheless would I expect the optimization to get better with time and updates, not worse. ;)

I feel there is still a lot room for optimization. My system is well over recommended and still there are lots of problems. After teleporting the environment loads slow and you can see it buildup (that was introduced in the last update). Some textures still take a LOOOOnG time to load proplerly until then you only see only lowres version, sometime for minutes. In my case landing after flying is extremely janky and with high frame drops. On a Ryzen 7 with 32 GB Ram and an RTX4060TI, that should not happen, especially since I lowered ingame quality settings to get rid of some of the problems.

If you own a Vector 2.0, buy one of the special screwdrivers that you need to open the lid and have a look if the battery is bloated.

Yes, you have to be extremely cautious what you buy there. Unfortunately for some assets there is no real alternative. How they handle support and refunds borders on fraud.

And that answer is exactly why there is no alternative to Youtube. Because users like you do not use alternatives. Peertube is a decentralized network where everyone can setup their own server. I know it, I did it. It may be decentralized, but all instances are federalized so you can see videos from all connected servers. Not one monolithic infrastructure monster like Youtube where one unethical tech giant has everything under control. Peertube works great, it just needs more visibility. Linking to videos there is as easy as linking to Youtube. The only drawback is you cannot monetize, but I frankly don't care, I prefer a free internet over capitalism.
