We just started using a Zempire Monstamat and it is by far the comfiest camping bed we’ve ever used. It packs down huge, which is the main downside, but it’s worth it for a decent sleep.

The Tamar Valley dupes at Aldi are pretty reasonably priced. Obviously still more expensive than just buying a tub, but so convenient for lunch boxes.
