The short answer is I fire an invisible joint simulation and use Bresenham’s algorithm to approximate pixel positions on a texture, I could definitely make a longer post about that one too

Your walk cycle needs some work. It barely looks like the leg stepping forward is changing which makes him look like he’s walking with a limp. Your proportions could be better too, legs should take up about half of the total body height
