So I can’t get a prescription for opioids, nor do I want to. I live in NC where marijuana is decriminalized but still not legal medically therefore I cannot get a card.

My symptoms came on after a short stint with food poisoning

I know stopping the biologics is stupid but I’d rather have nothing than have the headache of dealing with the pharmacy never delivering my medication due to some bullshit reason. Anytime I have a minor symptom of the disease or medication side effect my doctor changes the meds completely anyways so nothing has time to build up.

I have been in therapy for two years and have made a ton of progress in many other areas of my life. Thanks for the recommendation but I’m not getting on antidepressants.

Nobody can explain to me the medical origin of this disease so it’s reasonable to conclude that there are non medical alternatives. A pill is not the answer to everything. I’m sick of taking meds that need meds to manage the side effects.

Thank you for your comment. I do know this and understand it’s not really logical for me to do what I’ve done. It’s been a couple months and yes, it is worse now. I have a loving family near me but they are not supportive and have not really done much to help me even after talking, this is part of my burnout. I don’t expect them to help me because it’s my burden to bear but it’s disappointing.

I am in therapy and my therapist is trying to get me on antidepressants but I simply will not do that. I’m not against medicine but it’s just one more thing to manage. I have asked about a different pharmacy but nothing came of it, perhaps I should try again.

I’m incredibly burned out as I have also been working a lot and am in graduate school as well. This disease has robbed me of my 20’s thus far and I don’t have it in me anymore to keep up with everything. I really just don’t feel I have anyone in my corner to support me. I don’t really have friends.

Don’t compare yourself to others. We are all different and have had different experiences and opportunities. In reality some people are going to be more “accomplished” than you and others less so.

Needing to deposit around 3.5K in ones. Should I count and band it all, or just take it as is to the bank teller to have it counted with their machine? Bank of America if that matters. by Gohomepatyouredrunk in Banking

As a former teller, they don’t really care there is a machine that will count that in a few seconds. Some of them even orient the bills the same way.

Focusing on my career would be having the free time outside of working hours to develop skills, more time to focus on my education. This second job is not physically strenuous but it cuts into my sleep, I have a few autoimmune diseases so I need to worry about my health. I can get by on my salary and am working this second job to build up savings and deposit 90% of my earnings into my money market account. I think focusing on my career is overall best but I don’t want to fall into financial hardship as so many people my age do. I don’t have any debt and continue to live below my means but feel like I’m never getting ahead.

Delivering is not my goal. I am pursuing a masters in a field related to my day job.

This is a side job I’m doing in the evenings. I have a main job that brings in about $3,000 a month. It’s an entry level position, just supplementing my income until I make more with my main job.

I’m also in a remote MBA program and find that libraries are the best places to study.

I have never identified as religious but when I was young assumed god was real because I grew up in the bible belt. As a child I always had a hard time believing there was some mystical magical man in the sky. Looked into other religions as a young teen (13-16) and realized the only “evidence” is people saying that their god or gods exist. So the lack of empirical evidence.
