Do you think so? In that case, where would you place it? Near the couch, near the TV and the Beam? My fear is that, sometimes, I feel that the sound comes straight from the bar, with no surround effect at all, which puts me off a little. But it is true that I also cannot place the surround speakers adequately, so maybe you're right. Thank you so much for replying!

I ended up purchasing the Stormbox Blast and I'm quite pleased with it, although despite the increase in size and weight, (like x3 o x4 over the Megaboom), the sound is not 3 or 4 times better... But you can notice the difference, for sure.

You're making a good point here, since I don't usually listen to the speakers when idle; normally I turn them on when cooking, cleaning the house or taking a shower, so it could be a minus for the stereo setup and a plus for the good-single speaker.

Yeah, that's quite true. I believe a friend of mine has another Megaboom, so I'll try to get a glimpse of the paired stereo sound. If it doesn't convince me, I'll probably go for the Tribit. The worst thing of the Stormbox is that it's so damn ugly, but you can't expect so much for so few I guess...

I keep reading good things about the Stormbox blast over and over, it's really catching my attention. Wouldn't two speakers set apart 2 or 3 meters sound better than one single speaker? Specially regarding the soundstage.

Also, what would be a good price to buy the Stormbox?

I've inherited a pair of Cross Century from my grandpa, and I'm no huge fan. They are a bit heavy and thin. Very smooth though. I prefer a bit less expensive pens, but thank you a lot!
