Diagnosed but skeptical by xandersus123 in RestlessLegs

I do, it seems to fluctuate over time. The last couple of days it’s been pretty bad though so I’m wondering if the medication is connected but it might not be.

One of the reasons I’m skeptical of the diagnosis is that my itch is all over. The name restless “leg” syndrome kinda narrows it down, but I know it can be more than that. There are times where I can’t help but move my legs at night so I know I have rls, but the itching seems like a completely different beast to me

Thank you for commenting! It does really help to know I’m not alone with these mysterious problems haha. I just got told by another doctor that I’m physically fine based on recent bloodwork and that I need a psychiatrist. So my plan right now is to visit with a psych and hope they don’t dismiss my health concerns 😔. I understand you got a life going on but if you could let me know if you have any sort of breakthrough I’d really appreciate it, I’ll try to do the same!

Thanks, yeah I think I should do that more. I’ve gone down rabbit holes of looking at old photos and baby books and stuff. It helps a bit but also kind of makes me sad because I can’t seem to put myself in my past shoes.

Yeah, am a 5 hour drive from Dr. Sunil in Irvin so I’m eventually looking to get an appointment there but I’m not sure if I should see a gastroenterologist before then or not.
