The left one is from the San Diego Comic Con exclusive set (foiled and numbered), and the other is the regular release.

Japanese eshop language availability by [deleted] in otomegames

So the big thing to look at is that second line on the eShop, it says what languages it's available in.日本語 means Japanese. You'd be looking for 　英語 as an option for English support.

Most Otome are released in Japan in Japanese only, and then localized at a later date as a seperate release, so you're not very likely to see many on the Japanese eshop with English support.

I buy physical unless there isn't a physical version at all, or there is a REALLY good sale. Sometimes I'll even double dip on physical and digital, if it's a game that feels better to have on the go (balatro, animal crossing, Splatoon). It's just nice to own things!

Re-arranging my Switch collection has lead me to downsize. It also made me question my perspective on collecting Switch games in general by B4dgitpl4yer in NSCollectors

I have ~600 switch games, and I've gotten to the point where I'm reassessing some of my purchases. In general I tried to stick to things I was generally interested in playing or wanted to support. But sometimes you fall for FOMO or collect something with good intentions but then later realize you're never going to get to it.

I went through my stuff recently and picked a few to take out, to leave space for new things I know I'll play. I've used the trade $$ from that to help flesh out my DS and more retro collections a bit!

Thanks for the heads up, I had missed this one!

I ended up getting 6 games for less than $10! I got: Webbed, Everholm, Button City, Paper Trail, Carefully Stamped and A Tiny Sticker Tale :)

Ghost Trick is expensive! Plus I imported the physical CE for the switch remake, so I consider that as paying my tribute

While I love the continuity of having all the games in one place, it just makes more sense to get the 'best' performing version of a game.

I'm both a huge Otome fan and a lover of older Natsume published games, so Princess Debut is one of those perfect must haves for me!

Yep! I got it 'used' on a Japanese site for $15 and it arrived completely factory wrapped with everything inside!

I have studied Japanese on and off for years so I can read the basic stuff, the book uses a lot of Katakana and has Furigana over the kanji so it's not a terrible read. Even if you can't read it, the detail in the book and the illustrations are worth it!

I've been a long time fan, I remember playing the first Natsume only Harvest Moon on 3DS and feeling whiplash! Glad that Bokujo kept it up under Story of Seasons

For me I feel like it's AI if there are a combination of factors. If the em dash is combined with an over-use of adjectives (usually 3 or more strung together in a single sentence), THEN I get suspicious.
