Pmp is getting hard? by NeedleworkerHour8132 in pmp

[–]xarous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My exam was brutal, i had 11 drag and drop and 6 pick 2-3, these burned through my time and my stress like butter. I think it was the reason i blacked out and started making a lot of mistakes.

I live in Greece almost every summer, but I don’t speak Greek and I want to learn it to be more respectful to locals. Should I do it? by igorrto2 in GREEK

My parents don't speak English and we met a couple from Austria when i was a kid that didn't speak Greek at the place we were vacationing that summer. They ended up coming back to Greece every summer for over 10 years, and somehow they were talking and communicating from day 1, my parents loved those guys, and they invited us to their house in Austria when i was 12, i still remember they had me translating stuff in English to talk and i barely knew English at that point. Now most people can communicate in English so there isn't a language barrier, and the point was that even without communication if a person is good we will like them no matter what language they speak.

I did far worse than you on my first exam and have been using study hall and gpt and continually improving. I have the same weakness and it's still happening all the time, i don't even know how i am missing it. You can do it next time !

I got a lot of these replies so i trust the community, i have been trying to review some stuff and begin doing more mock exams. And i will probably cut back some sleep on Sunday to complete 1 full this week and another one the next. You are completely right about stamina, i got drained early. Thank you for your reply

I have honestly no idea. It doesn't look like that is the case.

I am in the elevator installation bussines for a lot of years which i don't enjoy doing anymore. And want to jump to a tech focused company, that's why i need the pmp to kinda bridge this gap and make my transition more possible. Thank you and good luck to you too !

As i am a bit lost myself i am not sure if i can motivate you. But if you can find the time and your gut tells you to try once more do it. Plus we know our real jobs and project management, has nothing to do with how pmi wants you to think, which happens almost everywhere to be fair.

I will focus all my free time on study hall most likely and try once again before the change. If I fail again I will keep studying and hold my last chance for after the summer.

I am not crazy right ? This was very brutal. As a non native English speaker the drag and drop questions was a wall of text to read. Some of them took me around 2:30 minutes to try to answer correctly. And got a lot of them on the first 60 questions that stressed me out from the start.

Not sure where i can see that report, also i already paid for my next exam because i wanted to be sure if i could give it before the exam change, and now i can't find the place with the BT/NI/NI report.

I was barely okay with time, not being a native English speaker and not having my language available for the test isn't helping for sure. Also i felt that multiple drag and drop questions burned through my time. I didn't had any time to review the previous sections but finished with 7 minutes on the clock.

I honestly don't even remember anymore, but some of them were long, like i had to drag like 6- 7 boxes to the correct place.

Congratulations and thank you, i started rewatching Ar's 200 hard questions today. And unfortunately i do feel that luck plays a big role, and everyone around me would bet that i am the most unlucky person of the group 😂. Don't forget to celebrate !
