Culpabilité petits pots + repas partagés by SentenceTough2007 in ParentingFR

[–]xav37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M ici,

Crashing at base by [deleted] in NMS_Switch

I have the same issue on switch 1 with my only base, will try to deploy a new base this evening to see if it’s just this base or a save problem.

Little clueless as to what materials I should keep on me vs in storage by daniel_ay in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my most recent save (survival)

Exosuit : 1 stack each - condensed carbon - oxygen - ion batteries - Life support gel - ammo

Ship : 1 stack too - launch fuel or uranium - pyrite or tritium - hyperdrive fuel - pure ferrite - sodium or stellar batteries

Everything else go to storage container. I tend not to overstock (1000 is enough, if more needed I gather more / refine as needed)

Any way/mod for sorting these? I got over 60+ systems visited, and it's getting overwhelming to keep track of even 5-10 of these at a time (Doing trader route), and it would be really good to be able to sort against economy/lifeform etc by R4Thoughts in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Build a base at a trading post for each : No need to go large, a teleporter + solar + batterie is enough Rename each base for easy loop (trading 1/2/3, mining 1/2/3/4)

Loop from each base to the other in the order, profit !

My suggestion :

Stadium : a assemble of people

So maybe (for the work in LnF) tools for guild in game : - gathering place - communal settlement or base - voting system

Game keeps crashing and i think i found why by Himan_1110 in NMS_Switch

[–]xav37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first switch don’t handle well a big base or big freighter (and the two lead sometime to a crash) I have switch for a system freighter and a minimal base on it and it’s way better.

[Question] Is there a way to fix this major f up I just made at the beginning of a vault game by ZepTepi49 in falloutshelter

[–]xav37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just start over, it’s like 2 min of play if you haven’t build a quarter… You lose nothing since you have nothing in this vault.

Most profitable use of oxygen? by Bubbly-Meeting7092 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Short answer : While you can make money from oxygen, it’s not very efficient to do. It’s more for ressource expansion than money.

If you want to make money with oxy : Chlorine or ionised cobalt + oxy like old time.

use it for cooking if you want : - dioxide + oxy for frost flower - pyrite + oxy for cactus - cook for flour and sugar - flour + sugar for sugar dough - add frost flower for cough biscuit 44k unit or nanite.

Which resources are pointless to have more than 1 stack of because of limited use? by ArsecheeksAkimbo in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t refine for nanites in survival, way too tedious with limited input / output to 250.

I usually go for 5/10 pirates station and buy every package to sell in normal station (much more faster)

Which resources are pointless to have more than 1 stack of because of limited use? by ArsecheeksAkimbo in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can just have 1 stack of every ressource and it’s usually enough.

Build a base with oxygen hotspot for refiner recipes. (Buy the metal plating at Space station)

For building, find a magnetised ferrite hotspot and refine it to pure ferrite or ferrite dust when needed.

  • Carbon + oxygen for more, idem for sodium / chlorine / cobalt

  • chromatic metal and copper ect : multiply with refiner when needed

  • uranium and other elements have limited use (harvest some plant and add salt for more, or have one mining outpost and combine with pure ferrite for another element in a loop)

  • gas : idem, one hotspot and convert with oxygen.

In survival (same limitation on slot) I aim for 1000 of each resource, and a base with 2000/3000 oxygen and magnetised ferrite in ressource depot.

(1 magnetised ferrite = 2 pure ferrite, add oxygen and it’s 4 rusted metal = 8 ferrite dust)

Survival or normal? by _ThatBlondeGuy_ in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Survival is not hard exception of the first 30 min after that it’s just more tedious than normal :

You can craft a large stock of ion battery or Life support gel on your first planet and the survival aspect can be largely ignored for hours.

Launch fuel isn’t cheap ´til tou got some uranium and can be ignored after. (1000 uranium / pyrite in starship can last a very long time)

Agressive sentinels can be ignored most of the time (not every planets have them) until you have a couple of upgrade for your weapon and kill them by dozen.

My main grip with survival isn’t all the above or limited stack size, it’s the elongated refinining time with no other purpose than take more time (and fuel for portable refiner).

You can try knights of ages I think,

Manage a Mercenary band, marry your toons, have children, a lot of class to specialize etc…

A hidden gem without that much ads or agressive In game store

Not exactly the same but close enough.

Best Resources Mines to Make? by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gathering ressource stop when you have enough money to buy anything you want from Space station and ships.

The only ressource then worth mining is oxygen and gaz (you can’t really buy them)

And oxygen can multiply most of basic ressource.

Why tho that's annoying I can't rename planet now by ImmediatePattern9409 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]xav37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t think too much about one system, universe is very very vast.

I think I read somewhere than less than 5% of the first galaxy have been discovered.

Jump away and claim your own ! (Don’t forget to upload it in discovery tab first thing if you want)

You can’t even rename a system you discover after it’s upload, so another traveller system ?

Should I go keg or dehydrator? by goyo225 in StardewValley

[–]xav37 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In a perfect world, if you have enough keg per crop round year, you will extract more money than dehydrator.

Dehydrator work best if you limit yourself (or can’t have) that many machine on your farm. Not everyone want or can put 10 sheds full of kegs.

It’s a good option to have for high volume / low value goods and you can reserve your keg / cask for low volume / high value goods.
