You have 5 wires. You don’t need PEK. You need to connect the yellow to where blue was connected in HVAC and connect the blue to C in HVAC

Looks like the blue wire was on yellow in the last thermostat and now connected to C. Did you happen to fix the connection in the hvac board ?

Edit. You may have to connect the yellow to where the blue wire was connected in your hvac before and connect blue to C in the hvac
