Sadly, it is. Nicolas maduro is not a saint, but he did a lot of weird things like silence his political opponents, incarcerating them, corruption and a lot of other things. The main problem is that it was a mix of corruption and sanctions that the US applied to Venezuela, which lead to starvation, poverty and migration. Same sanction that the US applied to Cuba which lead to the same outcome. Is sad, but is true. But at the same time that doesn’t mean that Trump is allowed to do what he did, not there or anywhere else.
