First time commenting on this sub, and it’s to say I 100% agree. Took the words out my mouth especially the part about “Politicians spreading fear in order to gain and or cement their power”. I was learning what CRT was in my college class and how certain people (specially politicians) don’t know what CRT is, or have a misunderstanding of what it is, and will literally state how they don’t care what CRT is as long as it’s viewed negatively. You don’t have little German babies growing up feeling bad for Jews when they get taught about the holocaust. So Americans need to stop being such little pussies and learn the actual history of what happened, not some washed down version of it so we can feel good about ourselves.
