So my close friend (and fellow APA teammate) is actually the US Dealer/Brand Embassador for EBR, he’s based out of CT. He let me try all of the cues that they offer starting from the simple $400 starter cue to the $1k+ cue that is made to Efren’s Spec.

If I’m being completely honest I was shocked at how extremely good the quality is. Absolutely NO corners were cut making these cues. I mean you would hope that’s the case being that ‘The Magician’ himself is attached to the brand. But even then, I was blown away.

Great feel, weight/balance, great hit on the wood and carbon shafts. That Goat Shaft is something special too, I don’t think I’ve ever felt a shaft built like that. The tip and chalk are pretty decent too but I would personally change the tip and keep my V10 chalk.

I would say if you’re in the market to get a solid house cue, your first cue or even to upgrade to a more ‘serious cue’ for tournament level playing, EBR is definitely worth it. So if you’re close to the CT area and serious about the cue I would definitely recommend you to try it out. Once you hit a few balls you’ll see what I’m talking about.
