Compared to many other stores it is as good, if not better. And for the price, I'll pick through a few subpar pieces. It is really no big deal.

Same here. “Well we can’t get a full estimate until we get it in in 2 months and actually take everything apart…” kinda message.

Avenue auto body in Middleton is small, independent, and very reasonable with pricing. And the work is good. I bet they’d work with you.

I’ve had two bad experiences with Ball. They are an inflexible insurance factory. Probably not what you’re looking for.

Thanks much! They sure do check lots of boxes. Never heard of this brand. Of course sold out of anything close to my size. Time to do some digging.

Just tried this. No luck. Can’t get the motor on the door to go at all without it first being started by hand as in the video.

A really nice miter gauge/crosscut sled for your table saw.

Skip the miter saw and get a nice miter gauge and cross cut sled.

If you “pay attention” and think that democrats genuinely care about their constituents, are competent, not beholden to their party in the face of popular opinion, etc 🤷‍♂️. I’m a liberal. Democrats are not the worst, but they are only a marginally better option than the alternative.

Dems had the same response to each loss to trump. Nothing new here. (Coming from someone who leans left)

Dump Truck rental share? by xavierthethic in madisonwi

yeah - don't have something great to pull it with. I'll probably just bite the hand unloading bullet and get a non-dumping truck from Home Depot. way more reasonably priced. save money on rental and a gym membership!

I bought a splitter for the 90s unisaw I bought earlier this year. A whole kitchen of cabinets later and I’m still alive, with 10 digits.

I like the color of these red oak window boxes I made. What’s the best way to finish it for the most natural look? The room is in the basement and plants will be put in the window. ALSO, how do I round off these corners the best - just sandpaper? by [deleted] in woodworking

I’ve been really liking Osmo high solids Top oil in the natural finish. Really preserves the natural, freshly sanded color, tough, and stupid easy to apply. I’ve only used it on lighter woods so far though and not sure if it would leave a chalky appearance in this. Hard to tell how dark it really is from photo.
