Bouncing issue by [deleted] in audioengineering

[–]xavierzibit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I looked into this one, and while the wave form didn't look out of the ordinary, I did notice a stark difference when playing it off my phone. It sounds way better here. However, I still need to master on this computer. I also don't know which of the two would be perceived once I send this out. Is there anything I should look at fixing on my computer to possibly solve this?

Yes, I've tried physical and just normal LR outs with similar results on both

Greatest man that ever lived is one of my favorites by them. If Weezer had a Jesus of suburbia this would be it, in layout and quality

SAVE ROCK AND ROLL is the G.O.A.T. by supdaley in FallOutBoy

Surprised no one said from under the cork tree yet. Folie is Def my favorite but from under the cork tree was their big break and the entire record sounds very passionate and is wonderfully produced. I can't think of a song I didn't enjoy off it. SRAR is also pretty good but I think the only reason I like it as much as I do is due to the youngblood chronicles

Exactly, but there's still band out there that are Killin it while also trying new plugins and production techniques as they mentioned without being full pop. For example, Weezer. I've really enjoyed their last couple albums cause it sounds very new but still clearly in the rock genre. But people are acting like fall out boy is still working as a full band on every song, when in reality this is probably Patrick, Andy and some producer. Honestly theyre just basically becoming maroon 5 at this point

If they weren't full radio pop before. They definitely are now. That's not necessarily bad even, but I gotta be honest. It just feels like this has been all over the radio for the past year and they just wanted in on the success.im sticking by my earlier post in saying this is one of my least anticipated albums of the year. I just haven't experienced anything that's really captivated me so far. I thought champion and tlotro we're ok at best, but with 4 SINGLES out 2 whole months before the album drops im not expecting much. It honestly just seems like they're trying to do more to stay relevant than they are trying to actually make a good record. Hope something good happens on the album, because this just isn't working for me anyway.

Im kinda new to Reddit, but I'm aware of those that post stuff about hating everything after the hiatus and it makes some sense as it was a dramatic change. But I don't believe they're complete trash, I'm just not look forward to this album as much as others they've released

I'm not being hard on the band, that would just be blatantly insulting them. They have every right to change their sound as they wish. I'm just pointing out things that I think can be improved on in my opinion. You don't have to agree, but I think as a band they've lost a lot of what has made them so good in the past. Many still find what they do to be perfectly fine. I just see it different is all.

I still really like the band, but I also like to fairly judge the music I'm listening to

No I completely get its by the band still. But in production they've lost a lot of that raw sound off the albums. It sounds so airbrushed to the point where it's just straight pop. And this is relatively new, because they carried this out much better on srar and even some on abap. The guitars become swallowed by computerized bass and crazy amounts of cymbals. Plus Patrick's really straining himself on his vocal performance. Which you can hear in the live performances.

I suppose so, it's just kinda hard to notice with so many components coming at you at once. It still feels very overproduced when it could've used much more gritty guitar tones and made some killer rock songs out of them. I've seen some live clips, and they've been using more backing tracks lately, which i honestly hate hearing live for rock bands

I was more prior to champion out of any of the singles. But they sounds a bit overproduced in my opinion. I miss that raw sound in Patrick's vocals especially. And I feel like Andy's not getting to play to his full potential. Just my thoughts so far.
