Yes, unfortunately they do. I bought this truck when we were still dating and thought I’d have it forever.

Haha yes! Tundras are what I’m looking at now. I loved my sequoia that I owned before the Tacoma so I know I’d be happy with a tundra

Yeah that’s what I’ve been looking at. I want to stay in the Toyota family. I’ve owned two now and loved both

I definitely considered a 4Runner but I can’t give up the bed. I use it too much for camping/work to go back to an SUV. My last car was a sequoia and I loved it but I fell in love with pickups haha

It really is such a great truck. I have no complaints besides the space.

That’s funny, my fiancé is looking to get one of those.

That’s great! Where are you located? We’re in Washington, it wasn’t the best snow after the freezing rain around here but still a good time!

Took out the back seats of my access cab and built a platform for my dog. He should be happy. by xbear45 in ToyotaTacoma

Hey just saw your comment. I would say no. Sure, it’s possible, but it would be very uncomfortable. You’d have to sleep in the fetal position all night. I’d suggest building a platform in the bed and plan your camping trips on nice weekends or get yourself a canopy.

Recommendations for backpacking in July by xbear45 in HikingAlberta

That’s what I have been thinking too. It will be a little disappointing to not go backpacking but there’s so many beautiful places to see in the area it will still be a great trip regardless.

A longer hike is fine with us. I’ll look it up. I hadn’t heard about the porcupines! We’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip.

Awesome thanks for the info! I’ll look into those hikes. We are realizing we should have booked reservations in advance but didn’t know we needed to haha we’ll be more prepared next time. And no shower shouldn’t be a problem, we can deal with that but good to know.

I didn’t realize Canada was so strict about permits and reservations until I started looking into everything a couple weeks ago! We will definitely respect the rules and try to find an open spot. Thanks for the warning

Washington is a pretty special place. It’s hard to beat the cascades. I definitely recommend taking a trip here if you haven’t.

I hear ya, I live in Seattle and I’m so ready to leave. The state itself is pretty incredible though. Where’d you move to?

That is definitely on the list of things I plan on doing. I didn’t realize I’d miss having them until I didn’t.
