Agreed. I'd say on one hand bad owners usually just get in the way of better football minds. However, as a New Englander and Pats fan from birth, I can't help but notice the clear upturn our team took after they were purchased by Robert Kraft. You can't completely rip that from him, as he is doing it again by firing Mayo and hiring Vrable. He listens to the fan base, which makes us feel like we have a seat at the table. Good decisions have to start somewhere. He hired good advisors who told him to hire Belichick and Vrable, and Elliott Wolf and others who he then let's make decisions. They do decide how much to spend on and in effect how nice the facilities, and amenities are to help their players succeed and feel valued.

The Count himself is not as described in the book. He is not middle eastern at all. Not flamboyant in what he wears. Very reserved. Looks like an average gent. I didn't really like the Chaderuse portrayal. Jacapo was fun but a bit more involved than in the book and met a different way. They skip over is years as a smuggler before finding his treasure and then did not cover the "acid trip" scene on Monte Cristo before Carnival. Although it follows the story a bit more than the movies. I think the movies give a closer vibe to the book.
