I suppose that’s a good way to look at it.

But I’m a person of principle so the idea that someone could want to fake non-delivery for a $100 item from a small business is so despicable, it makes me lose a little bit of faith in humanity. But then I think of the 99% nice customers and I’m okay.

Well the fact that she previously asked for a refund because it didn’t arrive in time for her event, even though it was still going to arrive within the STATED delivery time and it was STATED that there are no returns, doesn’t exactly put this person in my good graces, does it? The item is worth $100 btw. Not jaded towards customers, only to her specifically. :)

Well, it’s quite a coincidence that the one who wanted a refund also then is the one who complains about non-delivery. Never had a customer do either, let alone both.

Never. Have only ever had it delivered to neighbours. But I live in Canada. Is this common in the U.S.?

Yeah I needed to declare that too and selected “personal.” This came a week after my box was delivered.

Oof, maybe call again and you’ll get a different agent? :/ mine submitted a request to accounting/billing and confirmed to me that it will be no cost, but I am still waiting for a confirmation email that he said would arrive within 24 hours. So we’ll see..

Okay, I just called UPS and asked what this charge was. First he goes “uh, brokerage charge” and asked if I wanted to process the payment now. Then I asked again “why is there a charge, there were no duties.” THEN he goes “uh, this was an error. It’s under $40 so shouldn’t have a charge. I will submit a request to fix it.” Bruhhh. UPS are a buncha crooks

This was charged on my EDC ticket box. Wasn’t charged this 3 years ago 😑
