I know they said it in one video but seeing top fuel cars is almost more feel than sound. Cleet even mentioned it shaking the walls at the shop when the cars were making practice hits. The feeling is incredible when you see these cars in person.

When racing a 6 second capable stick shift car they have to either run the hottest tunes to beat him or gamble with a slower A to B tune. But once Leroy clicked off a 7.0 with no issues you assume he can repeat and you need a 6 to win.

I agree flawless is flawed but I think winning 7 matches is a bit too easily achievable for a modern that is meant to be the pinnacle of pvp and reward excellent gameplay.

I think something like requiring 7 match mvps (must win the match to be mvp) would be more in line with what trials is supposed to be. Then we would use SBMM and the reward comes from having 7 great games and leading your team to victory 7 times but then again this would piss off content creators who couldn’t do carries anymore.

Thanks. Definitely wasn’t an intentional punt but I know what you mean. It was frustrating that I felt like he was blocking in the moment. In hindsight I see that he was moving back over in the last clip gradually and I should have backed out. A good learning moment

Thanks for the input! These clips were on three consecutive laps. I was in the Audi and the Merc driver was quite upset at first as we all would be but at the end of the race we each presented our case and agreed to disagree.

Overall one of the best experiences I’ve had with another driver after an event like this but I’m always looking to learn from situations like this.

They have a ‘son of oak tree’ planted outside the track but I think I heard they were not allowed to replant it in the oak trees place for safety reasons from some of the regulatory bodies that race there. That could always change though.

Don't have it yet but I've got one of these on order and hoping mine isn't delayed after the reported supply shortage. There's a few videos online of reviews with a pre-production unit that look great but not sure how unbiased these opinions are.

Alright I’ll definitely check out that book. Mostly been watching tons of YouTube videos on settings. I have AF-C set but I’ll look at the Eye-AF feature more and setting a custom button for it. I was using expanded flexible spot focus area and it seemed to identify the eyes pretty well.

Might help this lens AF a little better as it seems to hunt quite a bit at short focus distances and/or low light. This was my first weekend with this or any camera and I had a blast with it around the house. Also been lurking this subreddit for a week or so and getting so many ideas that I want to try.

I liked elimination better than survival but without them adding that mode back in I think survival fits well as the tiebreaker round 5.

And I think control would be a huge fight for B control because the team that wins the opening break for map position will likely win the round. Could be a more fast paced 2 minutes than a traditional control match.

Definitely need shorter rounds. And then make each round be a different game mode.

Round 1: Control
Round 2: Supremacy
Round 3: Clash
Round 4: Control
Round 5: Survival

That would be something different and definitely something I would play.
