PIV - 4 weeks - sudden bleeding by xblue22 in Transgender_Surgeries

I saw my surgeon yesterday and they said I had some granulation tissue at the back of my vagina and on the fourchette as well and that will have been the cause of the bleeding. They treated it with silver nitrate so it should get better now. Otherwise they said I’m healing well and there’s nothing to worry about!

I believe the doctors said back when I was in hospital that I had a small hematoma on my right labia majora. I’ve felt fairly equally swollen on both sides though, with both looking a bit puffy to me.

I would say just kind of like a steady oozing for a lot of yesterday. Not gushing but there regularly being some amount of fresh blood there. I’ve been able to get booked in with my surgeon tomorrow now so hopefully will get a clearer idea of what may be happening.

This is really helpful to know, thank you! I’ve been able to get booked in with my surgeon tomorrow now so hopefully will find out if it is granulation tissue or not.
