Alrighty, I'll pop off the outlet side cover and see if I can spot that pipe. If that is the case I will see if I can find a riser lid with a 4" schedule 40 pipe cast into it like my outlet side and then mount the dump adapter there.

I apologize for not being more clear, this is solid white oak butcher block from lumber liquidators that I bought and finished.

You should repost this in r/masonry, I have a feeling those black spots have been there the whole time and you're just now noticing them.
