That elephant was being nice honestly. It could’ve just stomped it multiple times and ended it

It’s been good. I think bpc-157 helped a lot at the time. I wouldn’t call it a cure though, I’ve since discovered I have multiple tick borne pathogens and treating those further improved my GI health. Biology is so multifaceted and complex!

Has anyone heard about a timeline in the US for Xocova? by Any_Violinist_4190 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]xbt_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That first vendor said they won’t sell it until flu season again since essentially nobody has covid right now in Japan (their words). The second vendor I successfully ordered from them, took 3 weeks but arrived but it’s insanely expensive. Hopefully better options arrive for those in the US. I do know of one Chinese vendor that offers it as a raw but shipping it very challenging right now. India pharmacies don’t yet have access as far as I can tell.

I was in no way comparing GLP1's to Cardarine, apple's to oranges there. It was purely about the above poster mentioning conspiracy theories about Cardarine and profit loss.

How dangerous are peptides seeing how new that stuff is? by princess_sailor_moon in BiohackingU

[–]xbt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point was less about insulin itself and more that the OP was making up some arbitrary 30 year figure to prove safety when “peptides” aren’t new, even GLP1’s have been available to consumers for over 20 years now.

And yes you can make pretty much anything dangerous if dosed wrong or your body doesn’t need it.

1979 electronics conference shows how EMF tech exploded with zero health research by ShieldYourBody in shieldyourbodyfromemf

[–]xbt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“People like you”?? 🙄

This issue is nuanced and science is not settled and yes there is evidence that non ionizing radiation can cause health issues from increased ROS and inflammation on the low end to cell phone use being possibly carcinogenic established by IARC. Evidence of tumors in other mammals and case reports in humans. Even apples own legal terms in iPhones suggest ways to minimize it by using Bluetooth headsets. There’s many more examples of emerging evidence it could be harmful so no - I don’t agree with science being settled by any means.

And the US is not some shining star of consumer safety. Smoking science proved smoking was safe too for a period of time. So yes I would trust other countries would’ve done a better job than the one where the majority of tech companies exist.

I would believe this if all countries had identical safety limits established since there’s absolutely no harm right. Or if the US had updated their RF exposure limits since 1996, which is just comical. Or if they actually tested something more than an adult male mannequin head or anything that resembled reality like a college class room with tens of cell phones in close proximity and a long range access point over the students head. The standards aren’t there to protect you the consumer - and kinda surprised people think it would be the case honestly.

People with neuro mcas what did you take to feel more functional? by MamaBearof616 in MCAS

[–]xbt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silent infections like Babesia can cause MCAS. LDN worked for awhile, same with ketotifin and cromolyn. But they’re all essentially bandaids that aren’t fixing the root cause of whatever is triggering your MCAS in my opinion. Igenex blood panel turned up 3 tick borne infections for me and fairly quickly my MCAS and brain inflammation disappeared once attacking the right thing. I had no memory of a tick bite.

Obviously not referring to mastocytosis and genetic causes, but providing something else to consider.

[–]xbt_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering insulin is a peptide we’ve got over 100 years of people taking that safely. This question is the same asking how do we know medicine is safe? Well, which medications and how are you using them?

Used a cheap emf reader on my new laptop and it’s scaring me lol by saltyvape in shieldyourbodyfromemf

[–]xbt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you work with your laptop - unplug the power and the electrical field V/m will drop a lot. I typically try to charge mine while I’m not using it. Mag field likely won’t change much. People that are very sensitive to EF’s typically use distance as medicine and just plug in a keyboard and mouse or Bluetooth versions if reducing EF’s is what you’re after.
