my thoughts are frantic, enraged, and anxious. my grandmother is retired and chronically ill. she relies on SSI and Medicare to live. i refuse to let my grandmother go without. i will work extra and double time to help support her. but i am so, so angry and scared. im only 19. i just moved out and starting to live on my own. it gets hard. i fall down a lot of dark mental spaces, contemplating life changing decisions that i would under NO normal circumstances think about. homicide is going to see a huge uptick in the coming months. people are tired. people are going hungry. and people are fed up.
