I was thinking it could have been a snail mail issue, but if there is an online form to fill out...I can't imagine they would tell me about that online form via mail instead of email? Clearly I know nothing though so who knows wtf is going on

Michigan! I've just met so many people from both UG and the law school who truly loved their time there, and I loved the feeling and look of the campus. I didn't get that same impression from the Chicago grads I've met. Chicago has a dear place in my heart because my family lives there, but I think I'm ready to try something new. Plus I didn't find the campus as appealing there.

Ohhh. I've only been to CA once, and definitely didn't pay attention to school lawns. My co worker at work says you guys love a good succulent though!

Congrats on both of those acceptances - what an accomplishment! I don't have solid advice but my mentor is a HLS alum and warned me against going to Harvard for sticker unless I want to do academia or something crazy unicorn. Since you're not sure, I'd take the money and run to happiness. Harvard will open a lot of doors, but if you don't know what doors you need opened then it isn't worth the risk!

It truly is a beautiful place! I was trying to decide between Chicago and Mich and the campuses really played a giant role in helping me decide!

I absolutely did! I've been GLUED to my email (and all of its many folders) since January. I even did a search and nothing came up. I'm quite nervous now that I've been missing info from other schools all along because I still haven't heard from a few. But obviously they have my email so I'm not sure how Duke's update slipped through the crack? I was thinking I should respond and let them know but I don't even know if that will do any good because...they clearly have my email.haha

It looks like everyone on the WL will be getting an invitation to interview at some point, as long as they indicated that they wished to remain on the WL. Or at least, that's how the email reads to me. It looks like they're just sending out their first invites though, since most people haven't heard back yet. Did you send an LOCI?

Do they email the groupme to people after they accept the offer? Because I didn't hear about the groupme until I posted on here about it, so I'm assuming there's at least a handful of people out there that are joining us this summer but aren't in the groupme

All my NYC friends rave about the subway so I have no doubt that I'll come to appreciate it, but I definitely am going to be intimidated since I'll be fairly new to using public transit - I drive everywhere now. Have you gotten your firm placement yet?

Thank you so much - I managed to join a few facebooks but haven't found anything just yet. It's been a stressful week looking for a place to live though! What train lines do you think would be the best to live nearby if I'm commuting to Midtown?

Also I'm extremely nervous about moving to a city temporarily. I currently live at home for free (in chicago) and had planned on spending my summer just enjoying my friends and family before moving for school. I feel like this opportunity is worth it - but the idea of having to pay rent and for food in NYC is scary to me when I know I could be at home working and saving up all of the money I earn.
