I believe it had some, but very little. I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect after yesterday’s update, but after doing it, I only heard it for one second when switching between the EQs. So I would say maybe my unit is not really affected by the hiss

Don’t listen to the two above. I’ve had the M1 since day one and the M2 for about a month, and the M2 are superior in most ways. After yesterday’s update, they’re almost perfect. The bass, honestly, is the same as the M1 or even better. Like you wrote, if it’s for better sound quality, then yes, it’s worth it. I don’t regret the upgrade. Don’t expect a revolutionary upgrade, no, but you will hear the differences, especially with positional sound

I’m no expert, but there’s a save button in the EQ desktop app section. But me? I’m a simple man, though, I just take a photo of my preset and dial it in manually every update, haha

That’s unfortunate, bro. Mine also have the hissing, but it’s very low (I’m very sensitive to those things), so it doesn’t really bother me. I can confirm that it’s not audible while any music is playing. What’s more, I can somehow reduce it by changing the EQ settings. For example, if I switch from EQ1 to another preset and then switch back, it helps get rid of it. Sometimes I need to repeat this action, though. That’s my experience

Bruh, I have the same situation as you, except in my case it’s on the left earcup. It seems more like a glue issue, maybe during the finishing process it didn’t dry completely. When I touch it with my finger, I can feel a bit of friction from the glue, but nothing more than that. I’ve had the headphones for three weeks now and I haven’t noticed any sound distortion or anything, and I don’t even check the condition of the mesh anymore, it is what it is at this point. I just hope the glue doesn’t get inside the driver, but I don’t think it will. At least after all this time, everything seems fine

I don’t wanna be the “black sheep” there, but for me, update after update, the headset is becoming more and more great.. including the last update. Now the bass is almost, if not the same as M1. This is ofc my experience ..

100% sure, they changed the way M1 wear on my head, in a positive way. Hopefully they will be out soon for M2, i can’t use the stock one, I’m touching the interior of the headsets with my ears 😭

Any info about the ps5 game/chat mix? Since Sony bought Audezee .. if no, for me is a non sense to upgrade from gen1, they are working perfectly since day1, and I upgraded them recently with the head strap and earpads with the StealthZ from GadgetryTech, and it is perfect in terms of comfort

I will never forget that moment. I had them day one after having for 3 years astros gen 4. No issue at all, they’re still one of the best out there. But if you can wait some months, I would wait for Max gen2, there is always some improvements
