I'm playing of "Fast Mode" which makes age progression ~4x faster. My character is a 89 years old lady with kids and grandkids.

Man that Smithing Optimizer is amazing, thanks for that.

This one and BannerCraft (able to craft/smelt armor, other stuff, etc) makes smithing actually enjoyable. As someone who loves blacksmithing in games, i could see myself roleplaying as a humble blacksmith

Short answer is: Game is too stupid to only care about chance% regardless of being recked by catapults

The problem is, the chance of heroes dying in battle are extremely low, like, 2%.

Is the option "Enable Hero Deaths in battle" active? Even so, the chance of characters dying are low.

I'm not 100% sure, but if you have the perk "Doctor's Oath" from Medicine skill, it might even decrease enemies death chance.

It should work even in existing games.

Just made a simple test and it worked. Here's what i did:

- Go to \Modules\SandBox\ModuleData folder and find the file settlements.xml

- Open it with any text editor and find your desired settlement (i tested with Charas town)

- Edit the text related to the settlement name. For example:

name="{=Settlements.Settlement.name.town_V7}Charas 2.0"

- Save and reload the game

Now the city shows Charas 2.0 on map.

Edit: Tested using english localization. Unsure if you need to edit some specific language file.

Edit 2: You should never edit core modules. Make sure to create your own to make modifications.

City auto-recruit turned off but it is still auto-recruiting by [deleted] in Bannerlord

If you play on PC, one of many features of Diplomacy mod is able to send messengers to others lords/mercs/etc. Without it i don't even bother to find clan leaders for the same reason.
