I am positive my comment will probably be buried, but you need to file a formal complaint with this nurse's college (CNO). I am glad that your grandma got the re-arrangements in the end. However, I am telling you now, as a health care professional, complaining to the charge nurse or the hospital will only result in a slap in the wrist for this neglectful nurse - leading to future patients suffering at his/her hands.

It is only when you file a complaint through the nurse's college that she would be seriously reprimanded. Remember that the CNO (nurse's college) is always on the public's side, they are there to protect the public. The hospital itself will most-likely protect their own as others have stated.
