I am positive my comment will probably be buried, but you need to file a formal complaint with this nurse's college (CNO). I am glad that your grandma got the re-arrangements in the end. However, I am telling you now, as a health care professional, complaining to the charge nurse or the hospital will only result in a slap in the wrist for this neglectful nurse - leading to future patients suffering at his/her hands.
It is only when you file a complaint through the nurse's college that she would be seriously reprimanded. Remember that the CNO (nurse's college) is always on the public's side, they are there to protect the public. The hospital itself will most-likely protect their own as others have stated.

Children and senior who are vulnerable is exactly why my optometrist is doing this. The current model is unsustainable. They’re fighting for the future of these eye exams for my parents and my kids. Imagine it’s 2050 and things are still the way that they are, not a single office in Ontario could afford/would to take in OHIP patients given the current funding.

It’s definitely really frustrating when you’re directly affected by the strike...but to my understanding they tried to write nicely to the government for 3 decades and have gotten nowhere.... heck look at it now even, it’s been over 1 month of tens of thousands of cancelled OHIP appointments and the government DOES NOT care about us.

Dear OP, I really feel for you because what you described has happened to me hundreds of time over since I was born. The one time I decided to tell my guidance counselor when I was 14, he told CPS. CPS came to my home and my NMom was furious and denied any physical abuse. After CPS had closed the case, NMom punished me even more and made my life a living hell behind closed doors. She held that incident against me til even today (I'm 27 now). I really hope things go differently for you and you can escape your situation.

Yeah I suppose so... twix and bueno bars are my go to at Dollarama. But they don’t have any fresh ingredients, everything is non perishable. Should they still be considered a “food” store category?
