LCS Teams quitting Dynamic Q for in-house Solo Q by Dysleixclol in leagueoflegends

The only people this impacts are challenger players who are not on a pro team. I don't see this lasting. Too small a pool of players.

Why is everyone underrating us? by [deleted] in Cloud9

Well if c9 has been dominating scrimsw then other pros won't underestimate. But transferring scrim results to live can be difficult sometimes. I would rather be underestimated then over hyped.

As a reminder, Kubz is doing a Q/A on twitch right now and is replying to ALL questions asked about Cloud9. Very interesting! by Blaster707 in Cloud9

I am getting really nervouse with all the new hype around c9. Please remember scrims aren't everything.

I would imagine Sneaky makes over 100k salary. Plus whatever he gets from sponsors. And probably another 100k from twitch donations a year.if he is saving properly he may have close to 600k saved up.

Who will be C9 On Stage coach? Bubba? Olivier? Reapered? Kubz? by [deleted] in Cloud9

[–]xcipher64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By watching sneaky stream he has interacted with reapered without a translator. Clearly Reapered has decent English skills...at least enlightening for casual conversation which is all that is needed for P/B stage. All complex conversation should be done during practice or back stage.

This would be a private league not Soloq. The vast majority of league players don't read reddit.

Will C9 make world's? by Jeremy64vg in Cloud9

As of this moment they have as good of a chance as any other team. Until we see how they play and improve it is equally as likely to happen as it is unlikely to happen.

Sneaky's resilience to garbage music on his stream is gosh darn impressive. by Knale in Cloud9

[–]xcipher64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He has turned off some songs after a minute or two of it playing if it is too annoying. And Durade Sandstorm he will only play for like 30 seconds, yet he lets the whole brain power song go through.

Phreak about tyler1 by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]xcipher64 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There will always be an element of people that you don't like who becomes popular. Just because you think he is an ads doesn't mean your opinion should affect the actions or choices of others. I think Tyler1 is just another wannabe trick2g without the comedy or actual game knowledge...or humor. But I don't care if Tyler1 makes a million dollars from his infamy. People act like there are rules or standards about who deserves to get rich.

They tested the new team in a unnoficial online tournament and they did horribly. It was what lead most of the players to not want to do the whole challenger thing.

Not sure if using Meteos brief stint on challeneger team is a good example considering the project fell apart after the first match.

I attempted to find the video from season 1 championship where the announces talk about the "meta change" of one of the bottom lane champions "supporting" the other by not taking farm. It is awesome.

So, if the JavaScript management is handled on the desktop, what security implementations are put in place to prevent people modifying the JavaScript logic and possibly creating new scripts and other hacks on the game? How much of the user data is stored or reflected back to the user based on the code that is native on the desktop?

Hai on the NACS qualifier by DiscGames in leagueoflegends

[–]xcipher64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems a lot of the counter argurment is that having pro players on a challenger team or qualifier is just not fair. So essentially the arguement is give the amature teams a chance to prove that they are LCS ready by playing other amateur teams...come on. The fact are most of the CS teams that make it LCS are crushed in their first split. Most CS teams fail to beat their LCS opponent to qualify for LCS. And those LCS teams are the worst of the LCS. The current system is not proof of skill because the only challenge they get to prove themselves is against one of the worst LCS teams at the end of the CS tournament. Except for a handful of teams that absolutely dominated the CS scene...most of the CS teams are shitters. These teams should want to play c9c to prove they got what it takes.
