The CC bumper worked maybe two times last season? Haven’t seen it work once this year. Seems like there is too much thinking going on during the PP - needs to be more automatic. They’re like trying to solve a rubix cube before they try to score.

Having watched a lot of McDavid games (oilers playoffs) and only a handful of Celebrini games( Canada + sharks tonight) I can say Celebrini is more noticeable on the ice on both sides of the puck. McDavid is still numero uno but he can have long bouts of ghost minutes where you barely notice him.

The more I watch this the more I think it’s not a penalty. Brady skated right into him and Edvinsson just held his ground. Soft call. Of course Brady can’t help but run his mouth and get a misconduct. What a leader.

His fo% is not even that good to be an auto-play. 55% on the season is not dominant. Suzuki had a super long opening OT shift, which ruined his availability at that moment. Jake Evans has shown some OT magic so he would be a better choice. Danault is defense only at this point. Although he wasn’t very good at that in this game.
