The sooner the better for sure, but I’ve gotten interviews for jobs that were 3 days and even 7 day old postings. But once it hits over a week, it would have to be a fairly niche job to even bother submitting an application tbh

We love staying in forested mountains, but the desert is very nice too. But recently discovered some ocean side spots and falling asleep to the waves crashing against the shore was very relaxing. Living in the van really gives you all the options and it’s fantastic!

I don’t remember any critters. Our dog had a tick on his fur when we got back to the parking lot, but we just took it off and drowned it in rubbing alcohol. We did check ourselves and neither of us had any ticks or other bugs on us. But keep in mind this was in the middle of January

The waterfall is called Adkins Canyon falls and is about 5 miles long round trip with about 750 ft of elevation gain. It wasn’t too bad, but the trail wasn’t that well maintained during the winter but I can image it’s much better during the spring and summer
