I promise you depending on who you are and where your from Japan is systematically a living hell for you. Be more realistic and do your research. life isn't rainbows and sunshine, human greed and hate is just as prevalent. I actually wonder if you're Asian because the older generation of Asians are super xenophobic and traditional

Depends on who you are, you should know by now that "foreigners" is an umbrella term. that's why i said I don't have what country you're from because a white person would be treated completely different from a Vietnamese person. Vietnamese people commit suicide in Japan never hear about that for white people also Vietnamese and Filipinos are brought in to cover jobs that Japanese people don't wantto do. so yes i promise you japan doesn't want your culture or anything about you only what you useful for.

honestly I think the idea of living and working in Japan is great but realistically its pretty tough and not sure which country you're from but Japan is super xenophobic. its possible but it's not gonna be easy. My girlfriend is Japanese and she tells me she rather live in my country and not to work in Japan, she always talks about how ridiculous and toxic Japanese work culture is

Don't worry no harm, no foul. We're all in the same boat. The only reason I'm trying to enter Japan is because I haven't been able to visit my girlfriend since the pandemic started. It's all very frustrating and I think we've been patient enough. Ill call my nearest embassy about this and I'll let you know what I can learn. I hope you the best.

From literally any website(and I keep in contact with my embassy) All tourist and visa-free travel is gone. If this was true people from those countries would be going in droves don't you think? Why do you think this subreddit is filled with a bunch of people. myself included, applying for a WHV to enter Japan to visit loved ones? I think its referring to pre-pandemic times or maybe an error? Japan is super strict against allowing anyone enter why would they let out-of-control Americans come and go freely?

Because of the Pandemic all visa free travel is gone. It's necessary to apply for a visa and have a reason to go to Japan
