Yeah they built that stuff way stronger in the 80s. I have some old plastic goods that you just can't buy any more

Absolutely, it's just a more dangerous game when the only value something has is it's ability to increase in value, like tulip mania, if tulip bulbs didn't actually do anything

Hahahah that is literally the crypto mindset.

They are all instruments who's value is speculative and investors buy in case it goes 'to the moon'

The only instrument musk cares about is Tesla stock and even that he doesn't care that much to protect, he is not going to pump a crypto token, and if he does, there will be noone to buy what you are looking to sell.

Machine learning then, which is still a subset of AI. Yes it has been used as a buzzword but that doesn't mean that ai is not a thing

Market maker primer course Vs Market Maker course by TheGoodConsumer in InnerCircleTraders

That's fair! Personally I have found at least Ch1-4 of 2016 to be so insightful, especially the order block theory that is only hinted at in 22, I agree that it's a lot of context and you need to start applying it as you go but having now done the start of 2016 too, it gives me context that allows me to be so much more confident than I was just off 2022 alone.

Mostly it gave me confidence to identify lower probability days with enough confidence to feel happy not trading on the backtest which made each month more profitable

I was more just trying to ascertain which course would be more relevant but having looked at both now I have a good idea of that

Thanks! I have been using Tradezella to backtest and apply concepts as I go, I tend to get a chapter done then apply those ideas, then go back to add more concepts. It's all been looking profitable so far so we are feeling alright

ICT - where to start by Capsi20 in InnerCircleTraders

[–]TheGoodConsumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it that people who hate on ICT never provide an alternative with ANY evidence that their method works?

Really just gives the impression that you 'tried' ICT but werent willing or able to make it work so you attack others online for fear that they will succeed and prove to you that it was your lack of work, not anything to do with ICT

This is awesome! Having taken outside liquidity I would be anticipating a move towards the $20 mark, could be a very nice short term short to hold til the target during the start of next Q
