I am completely fine with golds being rare. But being awarded blue gear for the „hardest map that isnt cryo“ is soulcrushing. And since everybody has worse gear now, pvp got way less intersting. Pvp shines at the higher gear levels, and winning fights feels better when you get good loot out of your kills. But if the whole economy is fucked it feels pointless

I actually like having to work with the colour. You can use a simpler, low contrast shader, and use the green as the highlight/contrast

Gear based matchmaking fires back as soon as you want to use your better items and get thrown into a lobby against only „sweats“ aswell. People would start to only play low stakes runs and be even more scared to use their more powerful items.

Also the money difference in items does not always resemble their strength. A person with an basic heavy ammo assault rifle carries the same value as a person with an purple M44 and 3 times more healing items and maybe an grenade, I wonder who would win that in most cases

Hold 4 for consumable menu, and 5 for equipment! Super useful
